One of the things moms and dads speedily find out when they have young children is that these small beings are total of emotions—among them, joy, surprise, empathy, curiosity and some of the most, um, radical honesty out there. This lack of a filter definitely helps make for some severely entertaining (and usually astonishing!) insights.
