What makes decent earbuds today?

For me, it will be all of the above. Some earbuds are branded but cost a
pretty penny. On the other spectrum,  budget earbuds would have some
features lacking. LUMOS recognise the gap and they came up with the LUMOS TEMPO – a perfect combination of function, looks and price.

Hey Good Looking

The LUMOS TEMPO is clad in white with grey earbuds. this minimalist design is
perfect for today’s trend of keeping things basic. There is no obvious
branding on the earbuds so you do not look obnoxious as if you are promoting
any particular brand.

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) – I can’t hear you

ANC is usually only available for premium earbuds. Not only does the LUMOS
TEMPO comes with it, but it is also rated to cancel up to 42db while the
industry standard is 30db. This means all the distracting background noises
are better eliminated, leaving you to be immersed in the music on the earbuds.

I tried it on and am suitably impressed. Having tested a wide selection of
earbuds, I must say that this ANC is one
of the most satisfying. A listen to an old Whitney Houston hit made me want to dance with somebody on repeat mode.

Be true to the original with Trinity 360 Sound

A feature unique to the LUMOS TEMPO, the Trinity S360 sound gives you well
rounded and true to original feels for the music as the bass, midrange and
treble are calibrated to the most optimal setting. Music has never sounded
more immersive than with the LUMOS TEMPO.

Long battery life

How long sound the battery life for the earbud be?

Some would prefer it to last at least a few runs while some wish it could last
for an 8-hour flight to Japan. LUMOS must have heard your wishes as the LUMOS
TEMPO can last up to a whopping 30 hours. The earbuds last 7 hours on one charge and another 23 hours charge with the carrying case. With daily usage of an hour each,
you probably need to share it only once a month. 

Can you hear me?

There are 3 Mics on each side of the LUMOS TEMPO giving you 6 mics vs the
traditional 4 mics in most earbuds today. With more mics, it would mean making
a call will be much clearer in HD.

I can hear you 

The LUMOS TEMPO is also equipped with Transparency Mode or Ambient Mode to
pick out and amplify the sound around you as opposed to ANC. This mode is
useful for those taking the LUMOS TEMPO out for a jog as you probably need to
be aware of your surroundings while enjoying the playlist while jogging.

Good for exercises

With the LUMOS TEMPO rated IPX5 and water-splash proof, you could bring these
earbuds out for a jog, a day at the gym or even a hike. 

New Technology

The LUMOS TEMPO utilises the latest Bluetooth 5.2 version to transmit data.
This means you get smooth and more synchronised audio compared to other
earbuds on the market.

In terms of operation, everything is just a touch away. A touch on the right
earbuds would pause the tune. Double-tap and it will switch from ANC to
Ambient mode. A touch on the left will replay the track. It is intuitive to
operate the earbuds and you will get used to it in no time.
